Crufts Final
Throughout the year there are loads of Ch and Open shows that schedule YKC handling and YKC Stakes classes. All of these classes qualify juniors to compete at the biggest and greatest dog show in the world Crufts!
The lucky day winners come back on the sunday to compete for the titles YKC Handler of the year and YKC Stakes final winner. Both of these are different classes and are judged in different ways. YKC stakes are focused on the dog and is more like a breed class for young people. YKC handling is judged on your ability to handle and show your dog to its best!
Crufts 2012 has already got 3 representatives of the breed for the YKC. In the YKC Stakes Charlotte Page(Winflash) has qualified yet again the most amount of Dalmatians to have ever qualified a total of 4! These being CH Winflash Spring Angel SHCM, Winflash the final magic, Winflash Magic Mystery JW and Winflash Born to be wild. The other handler who has qualified is Amber Corcoran with Mountsorrel Crescendo of Shydally. There is still time to qualify for this as the last show to qualify is now Boston!
The YKC Handling is being represented by 3 of the Dalmatian Handlers. Yet again Charlotte Page holding top numbers of qualfing having qualified 5 times throughout the year! Amber Corcoran has also qualified herself and lastly Catherine Hobs who shows Winflash Loopy Loo.
We wish you all the best of luck for Crufts 2012!
