A new General Data Protection Regulation (‘GDPR’) came into force in the UK and Europe on 25th May 2018. The GDPR imposes new obligations on data controllers and those who process personal data. As a result, the North of England Dalmatian Club (‘the club’), a data controller, is required to have a data privacy policy which will comply with the new GDPR. The Club is required to hold and to look after your personal data, in line with legal requirements, so that it can administer your membership and membership benefits within the Club.
